Please read ABOUT first!
To gather experience over countless lifetimes.

We Realize who and what we really are, and come to behave like That.

Ignorance of That and associated bad habits result in mistakes and consequential suffering.

The accumulation of experience eventually brings us to realize that we are not separate from others, which forms habitual devotion to the ultimate welfare of all.

Here are the musings of a very poor student of the traditional Occult.

Over the past 36 years, I have had the fortune to have studied with various Masters, though to have made pitiful use of that incredibly rare and precious exposure.  Any insight contained in these writings I ascribe to the inspiration of these masters.  Any distortions, inaccuracies, and misunderstandings I ascribe to my own serious inadequacies.

Here are some of the great minds that have influenced my thought and experience so heavily over these years:

  • Janus-Mithras: Graciously bestowed initiation and teachings of Western Mysteries
  • Swami Satchidananda: Graciously bestowed initiation and teachings of Hindu Tantra
  • Vajracharya Ven. Peling Tulku, Rinpoche: Graciously bestowed initiation and transmission of Buddhist teachings.

To them, I owe the very glimmerings of Recognition of my own Mind, and what feeble understanding I have managed to gain about the Nature of The Dream.

NOTE: Please do not misconstrue the significance of the fact that I have written these things.  I am not a teacher, nor do I have permission to teach, and I am certainly not qualified to teach.  For example, I have made references here to certain secrets that teachers know and follow in order to measure a student’s progress.  While I know of the existence of these secrets and others, I do not know the secrets themselves.

I have written or co-authored some things over the years, some of which were until now just sitting cardboard box in my basement, where no-one could read them.  Because the Perspective hinted at in these writings are rare on the Internet, I thought my Internet contribution might be valueable to someone out there.

My purpose in writing is not to demonstrate some kind of authority.  I wish merely to share some of the things I have seen or otherwise become aware of, in the hope of raising awareness to the fact that there really is an initiated and systematic (almost scientific) tradition of Western magic, mystery and mysticism that has nothing to do with the new-Age movement.  Why would I want to do this, while members of such traditions wish to remain completely secret and unknown?  I hope to help some possible reader who has better karma, mental faculties, more respect, and higher evolution than I, to know that seeking for training in such a tradition might not be in vain.  There really are many secret groups in the Western world that do follow and practice a Western tradition.  But do not seek for them yourself, deliberately, as with this approach you will never find them.  If you study and practice quietly, secretly, in earnest and truly for the sole purpose of benefiting others, if you have the right karma and the right degree of evolution, you will be noticed and they will find you as they did me.

Someone asked me what I thought would be a successful visit for someone looking at this site.  I guess that would be: having a look at what’s here, and finding at least one article of value in terms of learning something they didn’t know before, with regard to the Why about Western Mysteries.  By “Why” I’m referring to the fact that so many people study the Western Mysteries, but haven’t questioned or articulated why doing so is important, nor why they’re learning exactly what they are learning instead of something else.  The “why” answers about it are often missing.  It’s the Why that I’m trying to present on my site.  It all starts with, and is built upon that content-box you see on the upper-left of this site, site entitled “The Meaning of Life”.  The premise is that everyone unconsciously and automatically follows what is described in that content-box.  The premise is further that people who study the Mysteries (Eastern or Western) are trying to do that exact same thing, but consciously, deliberately, and with a systematic approach.

If you as a reader, find any insight or inspiration along these lines, then my goal for this site has been achieved.

I have found all the information truly valuable. I will continue my study in private. When I first read Timothy Leary I had an experience of Divine Being. I continued my search because his writings continued into a path not in sync with Universal Love. I found Alan Watts and had another experience. I also moved away because my self-indulgence overpowered me yet karma took me to a place where many challenges broke me down and made me realize the path I should choose. I have found you but in reality you found me, and I am grateful for your life and energy. Thank you for this opportunity. Your book on Wicca opened a new path in this life. Although I understand that an experience can be polluted by my ego, it motivates me to continue in “secrecy”. May Perfect Love and Perfect Trust abound in you for all of us.
